SAS

SAS is a powerful statistical package available on the all StatLab workstations and the StatLab/WSS Linux machine: statapp.yale.edu. SAS programs are basically the same for each platform:

The interface of SAS differs somewhat between the different platforms. This effects things like how to start/stop SAS, how to load/run a program file, etc.
For operating system specific information:

SAS datasets are different on each platform and may have to be converted to the SAS transport format.
