How can I read in a datafile with extension .mtp?

A normal Minitab datafile (called a "Workspace") has the extension .mtw . If a file has the extension .mtp it is a portable Minitab datafile. It can be used on different Minitab platforms.
You can open it similar to a regular file with File > Open Worksheet... .
In the Files of Type box, select Minitab Portable (*.mtp) .

How to draw two or more graphs on one page in Minitab?

1. Choose Graph on the menu and go to the specific plot you want to draw;
2. In row 1 of Graph Variables, enter the Y variable (and X variable if applicable);
3. In row 2 of Graph Variables, enter another Y variable (and X variable if applicable);
4. Choose whatever Data Display you like;
5. Choose Frame and choose "Multiple Graphs". Then choose "Overlay graphs on the same page".
