SAS FAQ

My SAS password has expired! How do I fix it?

The SAS license needs to be renewed annually. Yale's license expires Oct.15. After a 90 day grace period, the software will not function.
For information about where to get the new password and how to update, look at our Update SAS License page.

Why won't SAS install/run under Windows 95/98/NT!

Many newer computers are being preinstalled with Windows 95/98/NT drivers for USB (Universal Serial Bus) ports. SAS version 6.12 is not compatible with these drivers and this causes many errors. If your PC has USB ports check your Windows setup for these drivers. There is a fix available from SAS for this problem. Use the following link, and look for the fiberfix.exe file. Fix for USB Bug.
