GAUSS FAQ

How do I import my data with missing values into GAUSS

To get missing values from your excel spreadsheet to appear as missing values in GAUSS:

  1. Replace all missing values with . (the period symbol) in your excel spreadsheet
  2. Export your excel spreadhsheet to CSV
  3. You can now use the this file with the load command. For example load x[1000,20] = filename.csv where your spreadsheet contains 1000 rows and 20 columns
