About the StatLab

The main Lab and the Rosenkranz classroom may be scheduled for sessions requiring statistical software and hands-on use of the workstations. Use the online form to reserve a classroom. The daily schedules can be accessed by clicking on any date in the calendar on the left. A monthly schedule for classrooms is available by clicking on the room name under the calendar.

The StatLab offers statistical consulting for the planning and execution of empirical studies, and analysis and interpretation of results. Among other things, consultants advise users on the selection and use of software packages and the planning of computerized analyses -- especially those involving large datasets.

The StatLab computing facilities have high end workstations, CD writers, networked disk storage, and an extensive suite of statistical software. We are committed to frequent updates of equipment and software to provide the most up to date facilities possible to our user community.

The Statlab staff and consultants offer introductory and advanced workshops on statistical software. Workshops are offered free of charge to the Yale community and registration is requested.
